Get Associated components

Hi All,

TS 7.2.1 on Solaris.

My query is related to finding associations for a page. Basically we are querying .pages for associated resources using Sitepub.Deployable and Sitepub.Nondeployable criteria. I can get the list of associated pages, DCRs ,components and templates however i want to retrieve the DCRs mapped to those components in my .page. I can parse the page and get the list but is there anything within the CSSDK API available to be used?

Below API's are available to get the Primary / Secondary dependency associated to a page.

(CSAssociatable)getPrimary, (CSAssociatable)getSecondary

1) On a page this would return the DCR / layout's etc.

2) On a DCR this would return, Images/ any assets attached in the DCR.

Sorry I think i should have been more clear with the question. I am aware that i can get the associations like you mentioned but I meant to ask was, can i get the name of component in the page which has DCR browsed within it? For eg: a.component has abc.xml browsed in the DCR datum. b.component has def.xml etc.

Not in any supported fashion. You'd have to parse the .page XML to get that information.
