I found below in one of the user conference deck. Can anyone tell me how can we implement this? is there any tool provided by HP?
•Video Asset Ingestion: Ingestion of video primarily utilizes VideoLogger, SoftSound and the video transcoder. During the ingestion process, allocate 1 CPU core at 100% for SoftSound, 1 CPU core at 100% for Video transcoding and 1 CPU core at 33% for VideoLogger. Allocate 1 GB of RAM for use by SoftSound and 250 MB RAM for VideoLogger, and 500 MB RAM for the Video Transcoder. MediaBin Server resources are not substantially impacted during server ingestion; you may allocate 1 CPU core at 33% and negligible memory overhead during ingestion.
•Still Image Ingestion: During ingestion of still frame images, MediaBin memory is typically limited to less than a full buffer of dimension equal to the area of the image (in pixels) being ingested. Certain formats are processed more efficiently than others. Allocate 1 CPU core at 100% for each image ingested.
