Impersonation error on TS 7.4.1

Hi There,

I am working on a freshly build TS 7.4.1 server on Windows Server. We are mirgating from TS 6.7.2.

We are porting our code to this server. I am trying to preview TeamSite DCR on this server, and while doing so, I get error:

An error occurred during PT compiling. Please see more details in log files.

iwtrace.log says:

Error: Impersonation failure user= <domain>\<userid>; argcount=18; errCode=1385;

I saw other messages on the forum about this error, but did not find a solution anywhere.

Is there something I need to set-up/configure in order to make preview/impersonation work?

No. Do the users have log on locally ability within windows?

I believe not (users do not have local rights on the server), but how do I make sure? Also, it may be possible on Dev server, but on Prod, it is not possible to give local rights to all users. Is there any other way to achieve this?

If you are using PTs rather than XSL, that requires executing a process as a specific user (known as an OS user). I am not certain what the DOS setting is, but I know log on locally will suffice, there may be other settings that are not all encompassing.

You can convert the XSL.

If you do convert to XSL but you have perl tasks in your workflow, you'll need to turn off user emulation for those. There's a flag in the iw.cfg to set; you can look it up in your admin guide. Otherwise, those tasks will give you the same type of error.

If you re-used the same stores from the 672 instance , it might actually be also a uid/gid mapping issue. (iwidmap)

If you re-used the old store,be sure you ran the iwmigrate properly.
