Mb 8.1 - email notification

Hi,

i am getting the below error in richmedia. log after i sent an email. i've uploaded user to the notification server and the email ids/ user id are populating correctly. SMTP service is installed and able to send test vb script email fro asset server.

Check the NotificationServer.cfg in ...\MediaBin Server\MBWebServer\Notification Server\ folder. Make sure the server details are correct.

is SMTP hostname valid in this file?

i have modifed SMTP host name. i am able to send emails from this server via telnet/ test vbs.

This means SMTP server is vaild. below is the error after modifying the server name.

Check the Email Action has the right template name (including the .html extension) in the Template field of Email Action definition under Manage Actions in Administration.
