Error when trying to add Sitemap XML in Webmaster tools

Hi All,

I am working on an information website inTeamSite 7.3.

I have registered my site in Google's Webmaster tools. There is a section in webmaster tool where I am trying to add the sitemap "default.sitemap" using URL. But when I try to submit it gives an error "Your sitemap does not appear to be in supproted format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit." Is there any way I can create sitemap in teamsite as per sitemap guidelines and submit it in webmaster tool or any configuration needed to make the sitemap xml compatible with webmaster tool ?

Please help me on this.

Not having looked at the link you provided (via google) - my guess is that you could use XSL or something similar to transform the SitePublisher sitemap into a different sitemap that you provide to google - whether or not it would work (two distinct files where one is generated from the other and each intended only for its own system) you'll hopefully be able to tell us.

The DTD that Google uses is different from Autonomy. You will need to transform the XML through an XSL or some other way. It is a simple transformation but I do not know of any code you can get to do it.
