How can I intrigrate TeamSite with third party DAM ?
You can integrate TeamSite with a DAM by defining what integration features you need, writing the scripts, custom menus, CGIs, JSPs, ect. required to meet those features.
Isn't that what you were hired to do ?
To be a bit more precise, you will most likely be building an interface rather than an integration - unless your plan is to essentially eliminate one of the two products from visibility such that you are left with a single product that performs both sets of functionality.
As such - the interface would be created in the manner that @nipper indicated, by writing code (scripts, classes, etc.) that allow one program to communicate with the other and/or vice-versa.
If you're asking for specific examples of such an interface - you would need to provide much more detail about what you are actually attempting to do - and even then you're more likely to get generic advice for the most part since we're not here to write code for you for free.

You're still not providing sufficient detail for anyone to really provide you a decent response.
In regards to the question at the end - I don't believe that HP provides any real "CMIS" (Content Management Interoperability Services) for interfacing with other systems. It does, as the previous responses indicated, provide some facets for creating your own, custom, interface between TeamSite and other systems - but the onus is on you to create it - there's nothing (as far as I know) OOTB to do that for you (though feel free to contact HP Support to get an official response)
