MediaBin 8.1 - OOB Approval workflow

Hi,

i've configured approval action and have few questions.

1) Do we need have any seperate license for approval workflow to work correctly?

2)Is it possible to select recipient at runtime? since, we have several user groups and users, and if user can't enter email address at runtime like email as link, then we have to configure an action for every user? i don't see TO field in approval window

Request for another information.

Email is going to approval for Review Request.

But, when the approver approves the asset, completed email is not being received by Requestor.

i checked the approval workflow action everything seems to be correct, like review template and completed html.

apart from notification server config file, do we need mention SMTP settings anywhere?

Login with User's account and check under Activity Manager. Open the Approval activity and see if there is a button to accept the approval.

yes, i can see that button and clicked on it. everything works fine.

only issue is, review completed/rejected email is not generating.

Is "reviewEmailCompleted.html" the template in Approval Action?

Check the RichMedia.log under ...\Application Container\Server\Default\log folder if any errors.

yes its there, i verifed the log and when we approval completed button is clicked, nothing is displaying in log and also no updated in notification log.

There is a known issue whereby the originator may not receive the notification email of the approval/rejection.
