Livesite - Use of Java and .net together

Env: TS & LS 7.3.2

We are using Livesite with Java environment. Can we use ASP or .net pages on the same livesite server? We have few existing ASP pages, just want to reuse for sometime. If yes, is it just redirecting from tomcot to IIS? Appreciate your advise.

You could, although it's probably not trivial to set up. You'd want IIS to render the ASP pages and forward anything else through to the LS runtime. The mechanics of it depend on how you have your infrastructure set up currently.

Note, you can't have LiveSite for both Java and .NET at the same time. But in your case, because they're legacy pages that aren't rendered by livesite but rather as standalone entities, you should be ok.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate that. ASP pages - Can I put them under html and deploy? so don't I need to set up any configuration or change any settings for legacy pages? The server will understand automatically it should rendered by IIS - is that true?

Whether IIS requires any additional config depends heavily on how your proxy rules are configured, and whether ASP rendering is enabled. I wouldn't just assume it'll work without effort.
