migrating from windows to unix

We are currently using teamsite 5.5.1 on windows 2k and need to upgrade this to teamsite 5.5.2 in unix. I've been looking through the forum and haven't seen anything on migrating to a different OS. Is this possible and is there maybe a thread out there about this that I have missed? Does anybody know what kinds of problems I would be facing? Thanks in advance.

There is no official OOTB commands for migrating across platforms.

Interwoven Consulting has created scripts (which may or may not be available on this site or the support site - don't know haven't looked) that can be used to do this - or you can roll-your-own.

It's not super-complicated, but it is something you want to think through carefully before doing and validate carefully after doing.
