How to get rid of Starting 'Start Input Task' manually each time?

Hi,

We have a requirement where in we have to initiate the wfm based workflow from wft (.ipl) file. We were able to achieve this using iwmodelc and iwjobc commands. However after the completion of wft workflow the transition comes to wfm based workflow but we have to manually click on 'Start Input Task' button by going into workflow tab of TeamSite.

The wft task is an external task and the wfm based workflow starts with a CGI task (which we need to start manually).

Is there any way to get rid of this problem and have the 'Start Input Task' getting started automatically?

No. By definition, an external task runs on the backend. When your CGI wants to start, there's no browser there to render it.

You need to either switch your "launcher" to run as a CGI (probably as an action from a user/group task) or change your child workflow to use external tasks.
