Form API setting max replicant value

Env: Windows 2008 r2; TS 7.4.1

 

Questions: 

 

1.  Is there a Form API function to set the value of a containers MAX attribute.

2.  Where is the Form API Reference guide for the latest release? I could only find one for Version 7.1.

3.  Does the lack of documentation suggest that there is a better way to manipulate DCT's and if so, what is that method.

1. If I recall correctly, no - but you can do it via raw javascript code - try searching the forums, you should find a number of threads related to this and, hopefully at least one, will contain some guidelines for doing it.
2. Unfortunately, at around the time that Autonomy aquired Interwoven, they stopped putting non-revised documents in the version folders on the support site; the acquisition by HP didn't significantly improve on that (though they did bring back the documentation "bundles"). 
   I believe the plan, starting with 8.0, is to move all the documentation to "online" and stop producing individual PDF manuals; the intention being that it will be easier for them to keep all the documentation up-to-date that way.
   So - right now, if you don't see the document in the folder associated with the version you are using, you have to bounce around through each previous version of the product to locate the most recent version before - and then use that.
