how to generate and configure cert7.db file from .cer file to ldap

hi Friends, i have my custom certificate in .cer format. I need to generate it into cert7.db. for that i used certutil ssh command. But its not working can any one help me to solve this issue please.

Hi David,

Thanks for your Quick reply, we are trying it in the Linux environment. and we are using the certutil command to generate the cert7.db, and we placed it to the our folder and we refered the path on my user_database.xml file but i am getting single bind exception in the teamsite ui. early it was the socket close error. please advice us

Did you download the older version of NSS?

Did you also update iw.cfg?

yes i did the nss older download. what the change i need to do in iw.cfg?

Did you add references to cert7.db, key3.db, and secmodule.db in the authentication section of iw.cfg?

Can you assist us where should we refer the files in iw.cfg file can you give us the syntax or any reference file please
