move the edition from one location to another location.

I have 5 edition and i want move top 3 edition from one branch to another branch.
then how will move without losing content, Please help.

Use edition based deployment to your new branch/workarea, for each edition based deployment submit the files and have an edition. Make those 3 such deployment and take the edition in your new branch.
