Changing to a new content store in Unix

Hi,

We're using TeamSite 6.5 SP2 installed on Solaris Sparc. Now the size of content store (mounted on /data) is running out. Was wondering if it's possible to change the location of the store along with the current contents/branch structure intact? If yes, what are the steps to do so?

Ideally what you would want to do is either extend your /data partition, or unmount it and mount a new larger one and just transfer the contents. In this way it's all transparent to TeamSite.

Otherwise, I don't know if this existed back in TS6.5, but it could be just "as easy" as changing the value in /etc/defaultiwstore.

Option 3 is defining new paths for the store[s] in the [iwserver] section of iw.cfg, as documented in the Install guide.

I would go for option 2 , change the store location entry from the file /etc/defaultiwstore after copying the store to its new location . After you bring the TeamSite service up, make sure /iwmnt does work.

Thank you both for your feedback. I have tried with Option 2, same steps as mentioned by Pauliw & it worked.
