Hi ,

Did you check the logs?

jatin

yes, I have check logs but we are not getting any error.

checks logs:

iwjboss.log,server.log,error.log.

we are using linux os.

Ashish_Sangal

Also check content_center.log and preview.livesite.log. Check the log level in log4j.xml file present in "iw-preview.war" under ApplicationContainer folder.

jatin

Hi Ashish,

I have checked both content_center.log and preview.livesite.log logs files but both log files are not updated when see preview component or edit page.

Only access.log is being updated.

Ashish_Sangal

Did you check the log level in the log4j.xml file under iw-preview.war folder?

Also, could you please mention the steps you are doing.

jatin

iw-home/ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-preview.war/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.xml

ppender name="preview-out" class="org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender">
<param name="Target" value="System.out"/>
<param name="Threshold" value="DEBUG"/>

Ashish_Sangal

<root>
<level value="DEBUG"/>
<appender-ref ref="preview-out"/>
<appender-ref ref="preview-log"/>
</root>

Mark the level of root appender as DEBUG.

jatin

Hi Ashish,

I made changes log level=DEBUG. Can you please let me know it would be required to run "build.sh" or "iwreset -a" comand after making changes on log4j.xml

Thanks,

jitendra Tripathi

Ashish_Sangal

You need to run "iwreset -a".

jatin
