I'm going through an evaluation of TeamSite v8, and trying to determine some differences from previous versions, as well as existing functionality. I've gone through most of the admin, dev, and user guides, but wanted to confirm a few things, which someone here might know. (It's been a few years since I've worked on TS/LS)
For developers and authors, are activex controls and applets required? Looking WF modeler, and local file manager, merge/compare tool, it appears so.
I didn't see anything about handling vanity urls, or url naming suggestions from the title (similar to AEM functionality.) Does this exist?
Is everything still built from ant scripts? No maven builds?
The mobile dev package looks like it's intended for creating mobile-specific pages. Or just preview LS pages on a device?
