Ektron's Visual Editor kills my IE !

I initially installed Ektron's Visual Editor while running Symnatec Desktop firewall,so probably so security stuff got misconfigured. Now, when I run Teamsite it works ok, except when I try to configure the CountryLanguageProperties.xml file - Ektron Visual editor starts up, then a few seconds later, all my IE browser windows close.

What can I do to get it to work properly?

Also, just for my own curiosity, what's the story with this? Why does the CountryLanguageProperties.xml need a separate editor to work on it?

This is going from memory but i seem to remember hearing that there was a problem with eWebEditPRo and ie6. I believe there is a patch out for it so it will either be in the K?B or support should be able to help you.

You are correct. This sounds like the old problem of the Microsoft security hot fix/SP causing ektron to crash. Please see:
