Error while uploading .mp4 file

Hi,

when trying to upload an mp4 file to mediabin we are getting the below error,

Exception in Primitive Reason = Unspecified error, message = Unable to launch transcoder, Error number, Error: JOB Settings paramets in primitive VL Multimedia Decoder RC=The operation failed.

Any thoughts on this,

Is it every MP4 file or just particular ones?

Have you tried playing it in VideoLogger directly?

Suggest you put open a support case with HP.

we figured the issue that the transcoderserver service was not running.
We cleared the .lck, licence folder and restart the service it worked.
