Approvals in Activity Manager

Anyone else have the problem of the activity manager only showing a few weeks back on certain jobs? I have over 2800 jobs in my activity manager which go all the way back to May (when we upgraded to 8.2). However, when I sort my jobs to just approvals, only the ones from the las three weeks appear, and I know there have been numerous approvals since May. Suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated.
