Does anyone know how to configure so that the EDITOR and AUTHOR roles only see their branch (Teamsite v. 5.5).

Have you looked at the section on "Branch and Workarea Security" in your TeamSite Administrator's Guide?

If you're on Solaris, you can just experiment with the permissions and group-ownership of the WORKAREAs within a branch until you get the desired behavior.

For example, if you had a workarea 'Mark' and a workarea Susy, this setup (on the filesystem) will make the GUI appear to Mark as if there's only his workarea in the branch and will make the GUI appear to Susy as if there's only her workarea in the branch:


drwx------  mark   nogroup       Mark
drwx------  susy   nogroup       Susy

Make sure you understand the business and usability implications of doing this before going full-bore into the 'Stovepipe method' of Workarea creation.
