We have a custom application, which is not functioning after the salesforce servers did some updates on their end. We are getting below error while submitting the form information.
When I did the google search for below I found that the issue is with the SSL certificate.
I performed below steps on two runtime server in order to install the certificate.
Step 1.
Save the certificate verisign_c3g5_root.pem in /tmp/folder.
Step 2:
Step2 : Run the following keytool command to import it into the cacerts file.
keytool -importcert -trustcacerts -alias verisignc3g5 –file /tmp/verisign_c3g5_root.pem -keystore ./cacerts -storepass changeit
Step 3:
Update /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64/jre/lib/security/cacerts with cacert from above command.
Step 4:
Bounce the tomcat on the app server.
But it didn't solve the issue.
Also, there are multiple versions of tomcat running. Does the certificate need to be updated on all the tomcat versions? Please let me know, if anyone encountered this issue before.
