Error while trying to import files - No such user

Hello Everyone!

I'm trying to import files into a workarea where I've full permissions. It imports few files and stops with error stating "No such user". In workarea I can see last modified by "S-123-456789-123". I believe this user was recently removed from AD.

TS 6.7.2 on W2K3

Couldn't find anything in logs.

Tried unlocking existing files, clearing browser cache, logging out, from different system etc with no use. Any pointers could be of great help!

Hi Praveen,

No such user error while import is due to the fact that the owner (not the last modified) of the file is not available. If you try to import the file and TS doesn't recognize the owner of the file you will see this error and if you are importing multiple files, the import process will stop wherever it find fails to identify the owner.

Better, write a script to update the file owners or run iwidmap time to time to replace the old user details with some existing user account.
