Appsense Application Manager and Teamsite licensing

Has anyone had any issues with using Appsense Application Manager and Teamsite? Our security team had it installed on our server and it immediately broke the Teamsite licensing - even though it was in audit mode. I've requested support look into it, but wanted to see if anyone in the community has experience with it.

Never tried anything like that before, but I suspect it changed your networking somehow, run tslicinfo and see if it returns the same information as before.

One of the odd things is that tslicinfo returns the same values before and after the application is installed.

WHat does tsisvalid say:

tsisvalid /opt/interwoven/TeamSite/etc/TS.lic

It comes up as valid.

I forgot to say in the initial post that when it breaks the licensing the error given is bad hostname, even though the license, computer properties, tslicinfo etc all display the same information.

Unfortunately I do not know enough about DOS and how it gets the hostname.

Can you tell what what installed when you put the product on ? I assume some shared DLL was replaced.

Also post the error in iwtrace.log

Appsense hooks into various Windows components, I don't know which specifically.
The error is the standard one.

Support is looking into it, basically I'm interested to see if anyone else is using Appsense and has run into licensing problems. With the increased drive to lock down servers I suspect we won't be the only customer that ends up installing it.
