"Bulk Edit Metadata" not working - MediaBin

Hello everyone,

For some reason, when users of our Mediabin 8.2 system attempt to add/edit keywords for multiple digital assets using the "Bulk Edit Metadata" function, the changes are nowhere to be visibly found among the asset details.

When trouble-shooting the issue, the changes appear to be taking place as the newly added keywords ARE being referenced when searching for them. We tested this by assigning some pretty obscure keywords to a group of assets and then searching for them (successfully), using this obscure metadata.

Does anyone have any insight on why this might be occurring and what we can do to fix it?

Under Activity Manger's Job statiscs, does it showming metadata action is succeeded?

The bulk edits DO show up as "Completed" in the Activity Manager.

I'ts just that when you attempt to view your newley added keywords among the asset details, you cannot visibly SEE that they've added to the other existing keywords that have previously been assigned to these assets. you can see the old/existing keywords just fine but your new edits are nowhere to be found.

Refreshing your browser does not help.
