TeamSite 6.0 Installation Error

Hi,

I tried upgrading from TeamSite 5.5.2 SP3 on my WIndows 2000 Server to TeamSite 6.0.

As per the upgrade instructions I set all the Interwoven Services to Manual and restarted the Server.

After clicking on the install.exe, it showed that the Installation program has detected TeamSite 5.5.2 under

\iw-home. and then I clicked Next to continue. It did the Dependency and Compatibility Analysis, and then thrown me an error message "There are no products to install after the Dependency and Compatibility analysis".

I am pretty sure that I my server has TeamSite 5.5.2 with SP3 installed and configured and the environment is Windows 2000 Advance Server.

I am not sure what is not compatibile and what dependencies are missing?

If you get an info please let me know. I am experienceing a odd error after installation as well. Can-t see any branch/workarea in the GUI...

Not sure if this is your problem, but you can't be using Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or TeamSite won't work (At least version 6.0 doesn't).

We had a similar problem to what you describe and so we reinstalled the server with advanced server and service pack 3 and the reinstalled teamsite and everything came up.

With windows 2000 SP4 TeamSite won't work. So uninstall the SP4 till Interwoven release a new patch for Windows SP4.
