Benefits of TeamSite 8.1
While we announce this EOL, we also want to remind you of all the updates we've made to TeamSite with TeamSite 8.1, so that it's even more user-friendly and delivers modern, engaging digital experiences for your customers and prospects. This letter also includes information about upgrading to our latest release.
TeamSite 8.1 brings significant enhancements in usability and performance:
- Modern graphical interface: Rely on an easy and intuitive interface built with the latest UI technologies and UX concepts, designed for marketers and business users.
- Project-based organization of information: Gain a multi-site- and multi-project-based view of content, templates, websites, and resources to promote collaboration and reuse of assets.
- Search, sort, and filter: Natively integrated powerful search allows you to break away from the limits of navigating folder-based views of content and instead work with visual tiles and a card-based view of assets. Just type a search key word and get a context-sensitive listing of assets, filtered in real time.
- Template-driven content creation: Design pages more easily than ever, with a new approach to WYSIWYG editing and design, based on predefined templates. Automatically componentize and convert HTML from creative agencies into TeamSite templates.
- Mobile-first approach: Use a template design that's mobile-ready by default with responsive design out of the box. Built-in support for mobile device detection and optimization of content for the device improve performance and SEO rankings.
- Easy creation of mobile apps: Create and design pages/screens for hybrid apps, and automatically generate the mobile app from TeamSite. Once the app is made available to end users, publish content updates to it without having to republish. Send announcements or promotions to app users via push notifications - with the option share specific messages based on location.
- Digital asset management: Leverage the full integration between TeamSite and HP MediaBin by access approved digital assets from HP MediaBin within the TeamSite platform. Centralize all content, enabling marketers to create and edit in one place, then push content to use for different campaigns. Search and filter to retrieve exactly what you need.
- Website search: Go beyond keyword-based search to deliver a complete, relevant, and personalized customer experience. Spotlight promotions and drive traffic to certain assets. Proactively assess what visitors may want to see, based on behavior. Map searches accurately to structured (ex: text) and unstructured data (ex: voice, videos, images).
