Default submit not working

When I try to submit the default workflow I am getting the below error in the pop-up.

Error Details: Invalid workflow: getaddrinfo failed with error 11003 [A non-recoverable error occured during a database lookup. ] for addr localhost ERROR:5000013: Unable to establish connection with server

I tried the below trouble shooting steps but the issue is not getting resolved.

1. Enabled the IPV6

2. iwstat - gives correct o/p

3. ping localhost works.

4. Verified license file

Please let me know any ideas to help in resolving this issue.

Are you using the default submit workflow to submit some file(s) and seeing this error? or
Are you submitting some default workflow via WFM? or
Are you submitting a WFM within the iwadmin branch directly rather than through WFM? or
Something else? Please elaborate.

Are you submitting some default workflow via WFM? or - No, I am able to submit the default workflow I created using WFM and not with WFT(The issue is only when WFT is used)

The answer to #1 seemed to be clear, but then the answer to #2 made it unclear.

You are using the OOTB, non-customized, default submit workflow, which is a WFT - not a WFM, to submit one-or-more files and are seeing this error - correct?

Additional questions:

What version of TeamSite?
What platform / OS is the TeamSite server?
Which UI (CCPro, CCStd, "TeamSite")?
What browser (vendor & version)?
What is the client OS?
Have you tried varying any aspects of the last two bullets?

Still more questions:

Does this happen for all files being submitted?
Is it repeatable for the files being submitted when the error occurs?
Does it happen for all users in all roles when they submit those files?
Does it happen for files being submitted on other branches?
If you have multiple workareas on the branch(es) in which this occurs, does it happen in all those workareas?

I.e.: What have you done to try to narrow down the scope of the problem?

What platform / OS is the TeamSite server? Windows 2012
Which UI (CCPro, CCStd, "TeamSite")? CCPro
What browser (vendor & version)? IE 11.09 and it is happening in Firefox as well 45.0.2
What is the client OS? Windows 7
Have you tried varying any aspects of the last two bullets? Yes I tried with ff and from different machine as well.
Still more questions:
Does this happen for all files being submitted? Yes
Is it repeatable for the files being submitted when the error occurs? It happens for all files
Does it happen for all users in all roles when they submit those files? Yes, I have master access
Does it happen for files being submitted on other branches? Yes, it is happening for default store as well.
If you have multiple workareas on the branch(es) in which this occurs, does it happen in all those workareas?It is not happening in other environments (Dev, QA & UAT) and happening only in Prod (as we are trying to setup a new environment)

Okay, going back to the original error message you posted:

Error Details: Invalid workflow: getaddrinfo failed with error 11003
 [A non-recoverable error occured during a database lookup. ]
 for addr localhost ERROR:5000013: Unable to establish connection with server

And the getaddrinfo function provides protocol-independent translation from an ANSI host name to an address.

There would seem to be some reference to some hostname in the workflow, on the PROD environment that is failing to either get resolved correctly, or is failing to respond to some sort of connection request.

I don't recall if the default submit workflow sends any email, but perhaps even if it doesn't... have you verified the mailserver (and default domain) specifications that are listed in IWHOME/etc/iw.cfg?

You indicate that you've done a ping localhost successfully, but have you also done ping hostname successfully from the server? (It is unlikely to be the issue, but it pays to check unlikely things as much as likely ones)

Those are the only hostname references that I can think of off-hand that the default submit workflow might be referencing.

I have verified the mailserver (and default domain) specifications that are listed in IWHOME/etc/iw.cfg and everything looks good. Also tried ping hostname and it works.

The issue is happening intermittently and also we raised a ticket with the support team and no resolution provided so far.

Can anyone throw some light on this issue please? Have tried all possibilities that I am aware of this issue but still no luck.

invalid workflow unable to establish connection with server teamSite error when submiting a file.

My users gets this error ocacionaly and is being happening since the update. I will like to know if there is a fix for this.
