dcr fails to load beyond 300+ replicants

HI All,

I am using TS 7.2.1 Win

I have a dct with max container limit to 1000, but adding contents beyond 386 container and clicking on save

results in error saying "save was unsuccessful.Invalid category/null type was received"

The content size of each container is not much to break the dcr..

Is there any limitation on the number of replicants we can have in a dcr?

There is no js call in the dct.

Any suggestion is appreciated..

Only time I have seen that is when someone had a WYSIWYG editor in the replicant. Is that the case ?

Also is the error on open or save ? Your title says load (open) but the error message is on save

true..we do have tinymce

I have used below in dct. Do you recommend turning off the editor?

Try turning it off and see if that solves the issue,

You can turn off inline, as well

external-editor-inline="f"

That should cause MCE to load from a button.

The issue was on adding beyond 300+ containers the dcr would load very slow..20 min roughly..

then we added , load-on-click="t" attribute in tinymce textarea in dct and load was fixed, But when we click save we got the error message..

I tried removing tinymce and have just plane textarea. Issue persists..

when you say js implementation , you mean it in form api?

I edited my comment, the JS was to add load on click for MCE (I forgot that it was bult in).

Have you tried other browsers/systems?

The only other thing I can think of is you are hitting the 5 minute apache timeout:

Timeout 300

in TeamSite/iw-webd/conf/iwwebd.conf.template

Does the save take > 5 minutes ?

however having tough time with this xml..

I have removed Tinymce just having textarea..

Beyond 300+ containers, dcr loads in firefox 30 but not in IE 11.

Once dcr loads, updating contents is fine..As i add another container , on save it gives error-" save was unsuccessful.."

I checked the iwwebd.conf.template and timeout is set to 25200 sec..

Any pointers?

Set the replicants to load collapsed instead of expanded, that should correct most of the trouble here.

I am sorry..

I did collapse all containers on load of dcr.

I was able to add few more containers..But beyond 390, and clicking save it gave the same

"save was unsucessful..invalid/null type received."

On the console however i do see the error-"script : out of memory"

Is there any config file, i believe , which controls the memory heap of dcrs???
