Is there anyway to get the page protocol in component rendering?

Hi All,

I want to get the page protocol and append it to image URLs in the component rendering. This has to be done in Appearance section xslt in Component definition., so that the image urls will be independent on protocol.

Can you please provoide your inputs?

There is also a dump context component, Check both out and you should be able to get what you need without writing Java.

Thanks for the reply.

I checked bot the components, but in bot the components if i hit the request URL as either http:<server url> or https:<server url> then it is returning the protocol as http only.

And in the request headder one of the header wiyesth the name referer as below value.

[referer] = [https://<domain name>/iw-cc/Site/Page/Edit.do?method=pageEdit&vpath=//FSDETS4/<store>/main/internet/www/en_US/WORKAREA/shared/sites/en_US/greenstar.page&siteVpath=//FSDETS4/johndeere/main/internet/www/en_US/WORKAREA/shared/sites/en_US&dialogMode=false&full_redirect=false&done_page=]

But the same header is not available on target runtime environment.

Can you tell me any way to get the protocol on teamsite and as well as runtime environment ?
