LSCS File name Length

Hi

I am running into an issue with filename length on LSCS. do you know if there is any limitation beside 255?

below is the error that I get. Once I shorten the name it works fine. the length is not 255...

Windows has a 260 character limit on paths.  Using UNC-like paths will allow total path-lengths to exceed this.  In the configs you can try using something like below as the destination store/area path:

 

//<hostname>/e$/LSCSRT-Store

 

...where <hostname> is the name of system.  I think you may be able to use a questionmark in place of the hostname so you don't have to bind the config to a particular machine (e.g. "//?/e$/LSCSRT-Store").  Check windows documentation to be sure.
