Hello!
We are using TeamSite v 7.4.1.
We are facing two issues:
1.When clicked on "New form Entry" or "edit" of existing DCRs,
white screen appears for a long time and then this error message appears:
"The Interwoven Web Daemon was unable to contact the Interwoven Application Container. The Interwoven Application Container may be down, or running on an unexpected host or port."
We figured this is happening because DCT is not able to execute the inline command and get the output. If we comment out the inline command within DCT and do a "new form entry", there are no issues.
2. Workflow jobs are getting stuck at “Caching invalidation” external task.
Runtime Caching invalidation is taken care by a cutom 'ipl' file. This ipl file in turn calls “D:/Interwoven/OpenDeployNG/bin/iwodstart” to deploy a filelist file. Logs show that 'ipl' runs fine upto this point where it has to call the given command then no updates in the logs.
Our inference from analysis of these two issues is that "There is failure when TeamSite web layer has to run a command on TeamSite server."
Additional Notes:
- The inline command and OD command execute without any errors when tried directly from command prompt of the server.
- We tried to restart the ‘iwutild’ process and it is failing to restart. Please see attached "utild-error.png" for snapshot of the error.
- When the issue occurs, we see that there are many Java processes active in the task manager. Please refer attached file "too-many-java.jpg" for the snapshot.
With this information I am hoping to get some details on the root cause of the issue and guidance to avoid such issues.
Thanks much!
Vinay.
