Regarding 'Development deployment error on 'Runtime'.

Hi,

    I am trying to deploy 'default.site' from HOST server to Target server [Both Java env]. But showing following error.

 

ERROR [cli.Interwoven.LiveSite.Runtime.DotNetRuntimeDataMapping] initSites: could not load site: xxxx,  missing site descriptor: C:\Interwoven\LiveSiteDisplayServices\webroot\sites\xxxx\default.site

As when i try to deploy pages by selecting 'Development' server it shows that 'all the files have been successfully deployed'. But the files are not getting deployed to 'Target' server. Jst want to ask is there anythig i have to configure for 'Development' server.? Can any-1 help me on this as i got badly stuck on this.

You need to include the TS level and OS when you post a question.  

 

However,  the Dev deployment (or the PLC) really doesn't push anything out anymore. Check the OD logs but I doubt anything went.  Since you cnana do in context preview, there is no need to push to dev for review. 

 

You can configure the PLC to push to additional environments,  check the SP developer's guide
