How to disable/hide "Delete" option during review process of teamsite publish

Hi,

Recently one of our teamsite user while doing review of teamsite publish files , clicked on "Delete" option accidententally instead of "Detach" option while removing files from the publish list. This had broken our entire site.

We would like to hide/disable "Delete" option completely so that it wont happen even by accidentally.

Is there a way to do this?

Not certain if there is a way to remove that selection. We use a lot of Read Only tasks which will prevent that, but that also will not allow you to detach.

ANother option is to turn dodeletes off in OD. That will revent a mistake from going out. I usually include a delete workflow, to explcitily remove an item from TS and the runtime.

I cannot disable delete configuration in OD because we also have scenarious where we need to intentionally delete the files both in teamsite and runtime.

After doing some grep in teamsite codebase I found this file where I can remove the delete link.

cd /usr/Interwoven/ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-cc.war
sudo vi ./WEB-INF/conf/ccpro/ui_workflow.xml

Removing below should work for me.

refid="_iw.ccpro.delete.link"

target="TaskDetailsSubWin"

public="true" />

I need to test this, not sure how it is going to help me.
