Upgrade Teamsite 6.5.0 to Teamsite 8.1

Guy my client uses Teamsite 6.5.0 and wants to migrate to Teamsite 8.1. They use very basic functionality of Teamsite with data deploy.

From the forums I could see that the path to upgrade should be Teamsite 6.5.3 -> Teamsite 6.7.2 -> and hence forth.

My chalenge is to get Binaries for Teamsite 6.5.3 and Teamsite 6.7.2 as they are no longer available on the download site and OpenText (New owners of Teamsite) are not helping me on that side.

If anybody has these binaries and give it to me I would really appreciate that.

We are on Windows 2003 server.

It's going to be recommended that you install TeamSite 8.x fresh and bring the content store over. Windows 2003 is no longer supported on 8.x.

I would open a case with Support and they can assist you with the steps if needed.

I already have a case open with OpenText.

I don't think you can install Teamsite 8.1 and migrate the Teamsite 6.5 content store to Teamsite 8.1 content store.

And yes Teamsite 8.1 will be on windows 2012 server, but I want to upgrade Teamsite 6.5 to 7.4 so that i can migrate the content store to 8.1

OpenText is telling me if we hiore Professional setrvices than only I can get access to these older Teamsite versions.

I've the same task to perform from 6.7 to Teamsite 8.1.
