Unable to take group task

Hi,

I am facing problem when taking task for approval.I am having master role with access to all the branches.

The member and manager of the group whom the task has been assigned are also not able to take and approve the task.

while trying to take the task my getting below error in server,log

AccessServiceSciImpl - Error getting user data for : <no user>

I have checked the roles and permission on the group and the users in the group.It has access to the required branch.

Please help me with ur valuable suggestions....!!

Is this intermittent, a 1 time issue, or does it happen every instance of the WF ?

Is the WF from a WFM or a WFT ?

If it is a WFM, then look at the job view and click the view model icon

The attributes of the current task are on the left and check the sharedby field. I have seen (typcially because of bad JS) this be blank and no one can take the task.

It is from a WFM. it is happening for every inctance of the wf for any group task

Run the steps I mentioned above

I have *thousands* of this error in my iwjobss and server logs:

iwjboss.log:17:44:33,467 INFO [STDOUT] [ERROR] 17:44:33 AccessServiceSciImpl - Error getting user data for : <no user>

So I would ignore that.

try running iwaddtaskuser and adding yourself to the task

iwaddtaskuser 12345 andy

and then add a group

iwaddtaskgroup 12345 admins

see if either of those help

Shared by field is configurable with assigned group.No check box is present.Please check the attachment

You did not follow my instructions.

However I will bet any amount of money that your issue is your variable

Again.

Open the WF UI and view the job,

Click the WFM icon (it is near the task icon)

An instance of WFM should pop up with the local task details. With this UI (not what you posted) you can see the actual value of the shared by group. It is likely not what you think it is.

You can confirm this by doing the other things I told you to do, which is to add the group from the command line and then trying to take the task

The sharedby element is defined by the group name.can u please share one screen shot for reference...

You said before the shared by element was a configurable variable. I am pretty certian that the variable is incorrect.

I have given a couple of things to try that will prove if I am correct or not. As far as I know you have not tried them.

So reread the old posts or hope someone else will jump in
