textarea in custom_instantiation.cfg does not seem to support newlines.

Hi,

I have added a new textarea to my instantiation ui by adding it to custom_instantiation.cfg. The textarea appears to be OK in the UI. However when i enter comments in it with newlines, it seems to be ignoring them. Is this a known issue. Is there any workaround to get the comments with newlines.

my custom_instantiation.cfg contains:

	<item pathid="comments" name="comments">
	  <label>Comments</label>
	  <description/>
	  <textarea required="f"/>
	</item>

Newlines may not matter. I typically convert them from newline to HTML BR tags.

Simple to do with FormAPI; Try that with a regex.

This is a long-standing issue with textareas on the workflow instantiation form - as Nipper indiciated, the best way to deal with it is with FormAPI to convert all the newlines to HTML line-breaks or similar.
