Anyone tried new version TS 8.2/LSDS on cloud? What are the available options for cloud? like AWS, OpenText cloud, etc. Any issues? I saw few posts about issues with previous versions.
Not really any different from the 732 which I talk about in other threads.
I have not tried 82, but 8.1 LS worked with no changes in my AWS configuration.
So far there are no publicly available implementations, though a few consultants (like myself) are building up the expertise to implement this.
Be careful in what you ask for when you talk to people. Many will call getting a VM at rackspace and running setup.exe "moving to the cloud"
What you really want (or should want) is a configurable setup that can autoscale, and use the other features that the cloud implementations offer.
