Resolve conflict

TS 5.5.2 WIN2K

I have a wf with 2 files... during the submit process a resolve conflict task pops up....

I try to merge...I try to over write...I tried everything i can think of but the resolve conflict task stays stuck.

I don't car I just want to push it trough right now.

How can this be done?

The resolve conflict window is one of the worst UIs ever. Ever. In the original (and erroneous) Fixed Bug list for TS 5.5.2 SP3, there was supposedly a bug fixed (#34975) which says there are better (any at all would be better) indications of why your files are in conflict and will give you possible solutions. Haven't had any files conflict yet but I'm anxious to see what they did with this. Regardless, this UI is horrible.

Can you post a screenshot of the conflict resolution window when you're in this state?
I'm not sure I can resolve the problem, but it would be interesting to see what you're seeing, and thus be able to make suggestions for diagnosing the situation better.

I have often found problems with DCRs can cause a conflict but not appear on that list. Try looking in your template directory.
I hope the new interface 'LEO' will provide a new way of presenting this infromation when it comes along soon. I missed out on yesterdays UK User Group so could ask about it.
