I think you're going to need to post a little more information about what you mean by "Invalid Tasks"

Do you mean tasks that won't allow the workflow to be instantiated?
Or are you seeing some kind of error after the workflow has been instantiated?

Also, its never a bad idea to include your TeamSite version / patch level and server OS version / patch level.

Hopefully, with some of this information, the folks here (myself included) can give you a better response.

I was referring to the invalid tasks that show up in the report when you run Diagnostics

We're using TS5.5.1 SP2 on NT4 server
