Teamsite LDAP password policy and login attemp log

Hi there,

I want to ask how to config the LDAP password policy, can fulfil the password policy and the audit log on login, which LDAP shold I choose and how to configure, and are there any login logs in teamsite or ldap, I can only found ${teamsite home}/Teamsite/local/logs/login.log. Could anyone help?

You are doing this backwards. Choose an LDAP that is correct for your company and integrate TeamSite to it. I would be shocked if your company does not already have someone working on a solution outside of TeamSite. The choice will be made by the current environment you work in (mostly windows, mostly unix, etc) and TeamSite will be configured to work with it.

Any LDAP chosen will do what you are asking.

My point is if LDAP can fulfil the password policy and the audit log on login.
Password Policy like
| Length: Min. 8 characters with at least 2 |
| |alphabetic and 2 numeric |
| |History: 12 times |
| |Age: 90 Days |
| |No. of unsuccessful log-in attempts: 5 |
| |Time delay on failed login: 15 minutes |
| |Grace Login after expiry: 5 times
and is there any audit log such as login, login attempts,login out log in teamsite or ldap without any custom program. We know how to use custom program to fulfill the password policy and add audit log, but this is not what I want. Do you have any idea? Thanks.

Well TeamSite won't help. It relies on the underlying OS or LDAP for all of those items.
