how to mix OD filelist with area based ?
sef
Hi
We are using OpenDeploy 5.6. We have a cfg file with 2 or 3 deployment names, using filelist method for one, and target area for the rest (common resources, images, etc). The target destination used to be the same area, (i think it was working ok before on 5.1). Anyway, now we get the following error:
"Duplicated destination area is not allowed", no matter if one of the definitions adds another differential directory in the end:
i.e.
deployment 1
<targetFilesystem area="$targetArea^"/>
deployment 2
<targetFilesystem area="$targetArea/common"/>
We are integrating this in workflow, so:
- Is it there in OD 5.6 any way to do this in one step or do i have to make 3 separate tasks for each one ?
- Do filelist deployments accept wildcards ? (like:
common/*.*, for files and subdirectories?)
thanks in advance..
best regards..

The "Duplicated destination area is not allowed" error may be due to bug #37666, which is fixed in patch 1326 (Windows) and 1325 (Solaris).

Probably it got rolled up into a newer patch. Tech Support should be able to help you locate the appropriate patch that contains the fix you're after.
