Using the update manager with Birt

Hello,

I post my request here to see if I'll be luckier here.

Basically, I want to use the update manager with Birt (mainly because I'm developping new plugins and I want to update them easily on every instance of birt we're going to deploy)

I added a few plugin to activate the update manager.
When I try to select the update, an error occurs beacuse of compatibility problems.

As this is quite urgent, any help would be appreciate (even a temporary solution).

Hi Nicolas,I don't have any workarounds to make the update manager work with the RCP version of BIRT... and you have done the correct things by creating a bug in bugzilla at eclipse.org.I am moving this thread to the General Discussion forum since this forum is for announcements and feedback about BIRT Exchange and there really isn't a place for BIRT bugs and product enhancements. Those should still be filed through the BIRT project site at eclipse.orgVirgil

I feel that you should try some other update manager with Birt, it can solve your problem.<br />
