Hi !! I was trying to group a field C_CREA_BY..but it comes out with this error org.eclipse.birt.data.engine.core.DataException: An error happened in data type conversion.
Can not convert the value of C_CREA_BY to Double type.

what does that mean??

Hi,

It might be because, in the data binding of the table U might have given the type Double for the data binding but in ur sql it may be returning some other type of data, for example a string. Check the data type of ur data set output and table data binding.
