Reports Dashboard

Hi,
Is there any chance that, I can create Dashboards using BIRT designer? Or Do I need to go for other things available with actuate. Would be happy if I get a response from anybody.

Hi Chandrasekhar,

The BIRT Designer itself cannot create a Dashboard, however, you can create reports that include tables with clickable hyperlinks... and charts with Interactivity allowing for drilling down on charts... and you can also have dynamically created images based on data... (like Up or Down arrows when a value is too low or too high, etc). All of this can be accomplished within a BIRT report. The Actuate products (like iServer Express) has options for additional Interactivity (like client side grouping and filtering, etc)... and has options for scheduling, etc.
