free blocks Solaris

We run out of blocks on a Solaris8 system with a backing store. The iwserver controls the number of inodes
and also the size of the storage. When running out of free space or inodes the iwserver freezes
the backingstore and stops the processing.

Unfortunately the iwserver-process did't notice the insufficient number of blocks.

This means the backingstore runs in an inconsistent state after that problem.

What is known about this issue? Is there something or anything in the pipeline in TeamSite?
