I've to create a report using crosstabs. The number of columns that will be displayed in the report is not known before hand. For this i use a parameter which is a combo. The report has to display those many columns that are selected in the combo. The report works fine when i have hard coded values. But the parameters don't effect the report. Are they cached that they give me the same display for what i select for the very first time. <br />

I tried the CrosstabSampleRevenue example where I'm getting the products to be displayed from a parameter. Here too i face the same problem. <br />

Do i need to set any cache preferences? The details that are stated in the link <br />

don't help me because when i edit my dataset i find no Cache Preferences. <br />

Parameters work well with all other report, but not for one where I'm using crosstabs. Where am I wrong?
