new extension for custom data sources

Hi jimp,

Yes, One of the extension points for BIRT is for creating custom data sources. If you are using BIRT 2.2 or higher, you can get started creating a custom data source by creating a new "ODA Runtime Driver..." and a new "ODA Designer..." project. If you create these in the order above and use the defaults, it will create a simple stubbed out data source that you can modify.
