Controlling Page Breaks via Paramteres in Data Sets

Hi,

I am new with Birt Reports. What i am tring to achieve is a controlled manner of Page Breaks in Birt Table for each page

Providing Parameters via Data Set

I have done the following in the onPrepare event of table.

tableContext = reportContext.getReportRunnable().designHandle.getDesignHandle().findElement("test_table");
var val=row["count"];
tableContext.setPageBreakInterval(val);

But this give me an error.

Can some one please suggest How can i achieve this ?

Is the value that you want for your page break interval passed in in the dataset?

same problem for me but am trying to set the page break from another dataset (i.e) assign value to a global variable in that dataset's onFetch method and then set page break using that variable the problem am facing is that when i initialze a defualt value for the pagebreak takes effect but if i assign row value to the variable it doesn't affect in the table page break any idea for solving this??
