hiding list header on a particular page

Hi,

I have a report with a list. The header in the list needs to be shown only on the second page and above if the list data overflows the first page. The header should always be hidden if the report is confined to a single page.

I've tried several suggestions from reading the forums but have not been able to get this to work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cliff,

Can you not just create a master page for the list an put your header in the master page header and unclick the show on first page check box?
