Chart label display overlapping

Hi,
I am having a presentation problem when rendering a chart that has one item with a very small percentage. It seems that the label of that small portion is overlapped on all the other portions and makes the label very hard to read.

Has anyone else encountered the same problem, and if so, is there a workaround?

Hi Patty,

I imagine that you're talking about a pie chart... There are a few things you can try to get that percentage to be visible:

You could try rearranging the slices to get the small slice next to larger slices. This would provide more room for the smaller slice's label to be displayed.

You could go to Value Series in the chart editor and increase the by distance under the slice section.

You could also mess with the insets for the series labels to try to make it look better. You can find that by clicking on the labels button on the bottom of the Value Series section.

If nothing else works, you could group your smallest sections together and make a bigger field called "others".
